Some pictures and an email from Tammie:

Maegan and Baby Katie

Are you my Mommy?

I took Maegan to Camp on Wed. I was to cover for the nurse that day. It was H-O-T hot! But, we had a great day. Maegan was the QUEEN. She had 5-6 little girls at her beck and call all day, if only I received such treatment. The Nurse's Station had AC, but I wanted to be where the action was so we stayed outside unless we had a scrapped knee to bandage. Maegan stayed refreshed with a constant steam of ice water in tiny paper cups furnished by her six little princesses. When we would walk in the direction of the Nurse's Station Maegan would drift toward it like, hey mom it is much cooler in there. She had 40-50 pound girls walking her on the leash. One guy said, "If she decides to run she will drag those girls down". I just looked at him very confidently and said "she wouldn't". At the end of the day, I went to report to the returning nurse, when I came out my dog was gone!!!!!!! LOL... the girls had walked her down to where one of the councilors was fishing, Maegan had waded in the lake and then layed down in the shade. When I found them the the princesses were attempting to make Maegan get up. Being the QUEEN, she refused. Of course when the Queen Mother came along and said "let's go Maegan" she hopped right up. The little ones were like....."how'd you do that????? She fell asleep on the ride home.
The End

How could I edit that?

Boudi in March and Maegan with her family in early June.

'The Big M' is still with Catie. The first lab results came back and she was very early. We aren't taking any chances so she will be tested early and often.

Speaking of Catie, she is a real glutton for punishment. I believe she has 13 dogs at the house at the moment. I bet the ASPCA has her under 24-hour surveillance! I think she has 7 mastiffs, and 6 O.T.M. (Other than Mastiffs). She also has two of her Easter-egg-hair-colored grandchildren. They travel with 3 dogs. Zoe has taken up with Morrigan.

Sometime you need to meet Catie's 'Rats on Crack'. That's what she calls her toy fox terriers. Jerry Lee and Sunshine were wrestling the other day; Morrigan walked over and broke it up. She said Jerry Lee looked like he was heart broken.

Morrigan is also 'Woo-Wooing' at everyone who walks down the street. Par for her. They shouldn't be on her street! Catie says its Jerry Lee's dream. He can bark a anyone he wants and he has the muscle to back it up.

OKAY! I admit it, I haven't posted anything in a while and yes, stuff has been happening.

First Roxi won another show. I mean really won. She took Best of Breed in Harriman the other day. She now has 13 points and only needs one major to earn nher championship. Go Roxi! Here is what Roxi has done since 'The Gathering' in Clemson:

20060512 - Tupelo, MS - Winners Bitch
20060513 - Tupelo, MS - Winners Bitch, Best Puppy, Puppy Group 4
20060514 - Tupelo, MS - Winners Bitch
20060520 - Franklin, TN - Reserve Bitch
20060521 - Franklin, TN - Reserve Bitch
20060527 - Harriman, TN - Winners Bitch, Best of Breed, Best of Winners
20060528 - Harriman, TN - Reserve Bitch

At ten months old, Roxi has finished no lower than second in her last seven shows. That's pretty good!

Fences have become a suggestion to Trojan. He looks like a deer as he goes over them. This from the dog that I have to lift into the Suburban when I take him anywhere. He stays locked up in the dog house. I know I am going to have to electrify the fences I just don't want to.

We had our first big storm here and the dog house did great. We had really high winds. A sweetgum tree snapped in two about 70 feet from the dog house. The dog house has a small dent in the roof where a limb bounced off but no real damamge.

Finally, Morrigan is up with Catie getting ready to be inseminated. Jennifer drove me up. I was a basket case as I dropped her off with Catie. Jen did a grat job of distracting me as we rode home. On the way back we stopped in and saw Sandra and Roxi. We also got to meet the 'Maskita', Niles. What is a Maskita? Well, it is what you get from an akita father and a mastiff mother. He is the silliest dog you will ever meet! He was so much fun. He is a pinto colored dog like an akita but with mastiff height. He was a pure joy to meet. Of course we loved on Roxi and the Goldens, too. We had a good time.
