Sid calls her Amy. Jennifer insists on Amara. I have started calling her Chunky Love. Whatever you call her, she is gaining weight like a fiend. She is closing in on four pounds, her eyes are opening and she has a belly like a beach ball. She can (and will) poo anywhere. She really likes to poop on Sid. Smart girl.
And now on to 'The Puddy'! He is SUCH a Ham!
These pictures prove that I have NOT been working with him enough. Sure we were in the goat pasture and there were a few distractions, namely a nanny named Polly... but he was a good boy.
He is growing up wonderfully. I love his top line. I made the same mistake I always do and put his front end downhill, but I wanted his left side and the sun was shining that way and it just worked out like that.
Brian is a skinny youngster but I am betting that changes in a big way! He is closing in on Trojan's height but he loves and respects his grandpa and is careful not to make a nuisance of himself when Trojan is around. Trojan is definitely the man around here. The goats aren't quite that smart...
I am sad to report that Chocolate's little boy puppy lost his race. He passed after a few days. I never met Roo but I sure do miss him.
On another note, we took some horrible pictures of Brian last night. It was nearly dark and it was raining so I guess I shouldn't have expected much! This is the BEST of the eight pictures. Oh that is so sad. :) Brian will be 8 months old on Saturday. We went to Home Depot, Tractor Supply and Walmart last Saturday. We sat outside Walmart while Laura shopped. It was wonderful. If you need to socialize a dog this is a wonderful way to do it. As a bonus there is a huge construction project going on next door and there were lots of big trucks and unexpected noises. Brian did great. He is allot like his Grampa Trojan in that unexpected noises don't seem to bother him at all. He is about 30 inches at the withers and I would guess about 120-125 pounds. He might be a little more but I would rather guess small. I despise inflated height and weight numbers.
Chocolate has had her babies. She had two, a brindle girl and a fawn boy. Jennifer is so excited and she is fun to listen to as she describes the babies. Of course they already have names: Amara and Bonnaroo('Roo'). They sound absolutely cute as buttons.
