Name that puppy...
Happy Birthday to Brian,
Happy Birthday to Brian, Happy Birthday DEAR PUDDDDDDDYYYYYY, Happy Birthday to Brian. Brian turned one year old today. I really need to get some pictures of him. He is spectacular and has matured well in the last month. He has a big bull neck. He is at least three inches taller than Lexus and Lilly at the shoulders and they are thirty inches. He is long with fantastic angles. Great big masculine noggin. In short, he is everything we hoped for and more. He is also an incorrigible ham. I wonder where he gets it? :)
These pictures are shamelessly being pulled from Jen's site. The ability to write basic html code lets you steal so much good stuff! :)
Chocolate is the most beautiful bitch I have ever seen. She has become truly stunning. I got to go see her and Miss Amara Jane and the Uber Goober, Oscar for all of five minutes on the way home from a wrestling tournament Saturday. She takes your breath away. She has really responded to her daughters presence well. Speaking of Miss Amara Jane, she is gorgeous. Massive bone. Huge chest. Eyes are a little light but I bet that changes as it has in so many of her family. She is a four month old bundle of energy. She has a good top line with tight feet and she is up on her pasterns, which is very good in a pup her age, especially with her bone! Oscar is a complete ham. Boy Doggie loves his 'Poppa Jim'. They all get excited when I get to come see them but Oscar takes it to a whole new level. BTW, Happy Birthday to our first litter babies! They are five years old today! One more thing, it is OK to be jealous cause I got to see The ChocoDiva and her family. It is only natural. :)
OK, I know it has been a while since I posted anything BUT I do have a good excuse. The plant that I work at burned down on October 16th and we have been working feverishly to get back into business. Heck, I have even missed three of James' wrestling matches and if you know me at all you know that the situation must have been dire for that to have occurred!
There hasn't been allot going on at home. The Forestry Commission finally arrived after 2.5 years of begging. They tried to burn the logging slash but it was still to damp and it just didn't go. They are going to try again in a couple weeks. The biggest news I have isn't really mastiff related at all but it is still cool and cute so welcome my latest baby, Twiggy! She was born Monday afternoon and seems to be doing great. I have put the goats in the front in an attempt to keep the coyotes at bay. Twiggy is doing fine and her parents, Polly and Arthur, are VERY protective. ARCHIVES |
